This year commemorates the 30th anniversary of the Asian Television Awards. Found in 1996, the Asian Television Awards is today Asia Pacific’s largest and most recognised platform for endorsing quality video content and talents.
As part of our 30th anniversary celebrations, we are please to announce a joint collaborative effort between the Asian Television Awards, Art Expo Hong Kong 2025 and Yoywow Communications to conduct a charity auction. Funds raised will be used to provide scholarships and bursaries to deserving students undertaking university media studies in Hong Kong institutions.
The Charity Auction is slated to be held as follows:
Date: 1 June 2025
Venue: AsiaWorld-Expo Main Stage
Time : 7pm to 10pm
“This charity effort continues our tradition of giving back to our industry. On our 20th anniversary 10 years ago, we established a trust fund with the Nanyang Technological University of Singapore to give annual cash grants to top students. This trust fund has to date disbursed more than 50 cash awards and is still ongoing. We hope that this charity auction will likewise evolve to be an annual contribution to HK students”, said Raymond Wong, Awards Director of the Asian Television Awards.
Peter Pi, Chairman of the Art Expo Organising Committee said, “We are honored to be working with the Asian Television Awards to jointly organise this charity auction. This partnership is a testament to the growing influence and stature of Art Expo Hong Kong.”
